The present trustees of the SAIF Charter Trust are: - Gary Neill (Chairman), Richard Edwards (Secretary) Jeremy West, Charles Nethercott, Justin Burgess, John Tempest, Arran Brudenell, John Whitehouse, Mark Shaw and Ronnie Wayte. All are funeral directors with the exception of Mr Wayte who is the Managing Director of Golden Charter Ltd.
The members of the SAIF Charter trust are the owners of Golden Charter Ltd. And these members qualify to receive a set of distinct benefits from Golden Charter so long as they meet two conditions.

The qualifications for membership of SAIFCharter are that a firm is a member of SAIF and signs a declaration to sell exclusively Golden Charter brands of Pre-paid Funeral Plans.
SAIF endorses the views and positions held by Golden Charter and the Funeral Planning Authority (FPA) with regard to security of trust funds, freedom of choice, annual audits and actuarial valuations, compensation schemes, refunds and regulation.
