With Golden Charter's generous gift of 30% of Golden Charter's shares now in the SAIFCharter Trust, in 2000 the following benefits were offered (£200 financial credits per member).

The qualifications for membership of SAIFCharter are that a firm is a member of SAIF and signs a declaration to sell exclusively Golden Charter and Help the Aged Pre-paid Funeral Plans. There is no joining fee.

SAIF endorses the views and positions held by Golden Charter and the Funeral Planning Authority (FPA) with regard to security of trust funds, freedom of choice, annual audits and actuarial valuations, compensation schemes, refunds and regulation.
