History

David Hall established Southwell & District Funeral Service in 1966 alongside his existing Joinery business. The funeral home, Verne House still retains many original features. David Hall, family and staff provide a caring, dignified & personal service to the highest professional standards, with a friendly informal approach. We are available 24 hours a day to assist you. The vocation of undertaking in David's family was founded around the late nineteenth century by Thomas Jarvis Pepper, David's great grandfather.

Our family have always been proud to serve Southwell and the surrounding district in this capacity. We are proud to remain family owned and run.
