The BMA have announced that with effect from October 1st 2004 the fee for completion of Forms B and C has increased by 10% over the 2003/2004 level. This means a fee of £55.50 per form. The mileage rate remains unchanged at 56.4p per mile.As was the case last year the BMA have shown absolutely no interest in "negotiating" with SAIF and the other funeral organisations over the level of the increase. In a distinctly arrogant way they have made it clear that should SAIF not agree to the new fees then they would advise their members to negotiate their own fee with each SAIF member individually. In view of this "threat" we feel that we have little choice but to agree to the new fee. Cremation forms B & C.
